On Pace Pit Services LLC ("OPPS," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients, members, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights regarding your personal data. By using our website, booking our services, or enrolling in The Inner Pit membership, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Booking & Service Clients

When you inquire about or book OPPS services, we collect:

  • Full name and contact information (phone number, email address)

  • Event details (race name, series, date, location)

  • Vehicle or bike class and race number

  • Support requirements and logistics preferences

  • Referral source

  • Payment information (processed through QuickBooks / Intuit; see Section 5)

2.2 Inner Pit Members

When you enroll in The Inner Pit (Pit Pass or Pit Priority), we collect:

  • Full name and email address

  • Billing information (processed through Stripe via Squarespace, Afterpay, Klarna, or QuickBooks / Intuit depending on payment method; see Section 5)

  • Membership enrollment date

  • Shipping address (Pit Priority members receiving quarterly shirt drops)

2.3 Newsletter Subscribers

When you sign up for the OPPS newsletter, we collect:

  • Email address

  • Name (if provided)

2.4 Minor Racers

If a racer is a minor, all business is conducted with the parent or legal guardian. The only information collected directly pertaining to a minor is:

  • First and last name

  • Date of birth (used solely for birthday discounts and prizes)

This information is provided by and consented to by the parent or legal guardian on behalf of the minor. OPPS does not knowingly solicit personal information directly from minors.

2.5 Website Usage

Our website (hosted on Squarespace) may automatically collect basic usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs. This data is collected by Squarespace and is subject to Squarespace's own privacy policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Booking & service fulfillment — processing inquiries, building proposals, issuing contracts and invoices, and coordinating contractor assignments

  • Billing & payments — issuing invoices, processing deposits and final balances, and reconciling payments through QuickBooks / Intuit

  • Membership management — managing Inner Pit tier access, tracking enrollment dates for seniority purposes, and distributing member benefits including vendor discount codes and quarterly merch

  • Communications — sending booking confirmations, invoices, post-race surveys, newsletters, and event updates

  • Birthday rewards — using date of birth to issue birthday discounts or prizes to eligible clients and members

  • Service improvement — using post-race survey feedback and internal records to improve contractor performance and service quality

  • Legal & compliance — maintaining records as required for business operations, tax purposes, and dispute resolution

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. How We Share Your Information

OPPS does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not share client or member data with vendor partners. Vendor discount codes are distributed by OPPS directly — vendors are not provided with any client or member information.

We may share limited information in the following circumstances:

  • With contractors — assigned OPPS mechanics may receive basic event and contact information (team name, event details, logistics) necessary to perform their contracted services. Contractors are expected to handle this information with professionalism and discretion.

  • With service providers — we use QuickBooks / Intuit for invoicing and payment processing. These platforms have their own privacy policies and security standards. OPPS does not store full payment card information directly.

  • As required by law — we may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority.

5. Payment Processing

OPPS accepts payments through the following processors. We do not store full credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment credentials on our own systems. By submitting payment, you agree to the applicable terms and privacy policy of the payment processor used for your transaction.

  • Stripe (via Squarespace) — handles all major card payments including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, UnionPay, and other accepted card networks, as well as ACH bank transfers, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link (Stripe's saved payment product).   • Afterpay — a buy now, pay later service available at checkout. Use of Afterpay is subject to Afterpay's own terms and privacy policy. For more information, visit afterpay.com.

  • Klarna — a buy now, pay later service available at checkout. Use of Klarna is subject to Klarna's own terms and privacy policy. For more information, visit klarna.com.

  • QuickBooks / Intuit — used for invoicing, deposit processing, and accounting reconciliation. For more information, visit intuit.com.

OPPS is not responsible for the data practices of any third-party payment processor. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies before completing a transaction.

6. Data Retention

We retain client and member records for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, including maintaining booking history, membership seniority records, and tax and accounting obligations. If you would like your data removed, see Section 8.

7. Data Security

OPPS takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Our records are maintained through QuickBooks / Intuit, Stripe, and Squarespace, all of which maintain their own security standards. While we take data security seriously, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate or outdated information

  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and business record-keeping requirements

  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us directly

9. Newsletter & Marketing Communications

If you subscribe to the OPPS newsletter, you will receive periodic emails including race updates, mechanic spotlights, event announcements, and other OPPS news. You may unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not affect transactional communications related to active bookings or memberships.

10. Children's Privacy

OPPS does not knowingly collect personal information directly from individuals under the age of 18. When a minor is involved as a racer, all personal and business information is collected from and consented to by the parent or legal guardian. The only information retained pertaining to a minor is their name and date of birth, used solely for birthday discounts and prizes. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor without parental consent, please contact us immediately at onpacepits@outlook.com and we will promptly remove it.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites including social media platforms, vendor partners, and race sanctioning bodies. OPPS is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.

12. Changes to This Policy

OPPS reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted to the OPPS website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services or website following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
